Cummins Power Systems operates a world class facility in Fridley, just north of Minneapolis.  The work that Cummins is doing in the Twin Cities led to a visit from President Biden in the summer of 2023.   AEE Twin Cities has the privilege of being able to schedule a tour of this facility on Tuesday, June 18^th starting promptly at 4PM.  Come see for yourself what has attracted presidential attention!

We will tour the Cummins Power Integration Center, a state-of-the-art microgrid lab designed by Cummins and supporting leading-edge development of new energy technologies. We will also tour the Cummins Hydrogen Electrolyzer Production line in Fridley which represents a significant investment benefiting directly from the Inflation Reduction Act and further investing in Minnesota jobs focused on clean energy production.

During our visit and plant tour, we will be asked to wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses, safety-toed shoes and a stylish high visibility vest. If you have your own safety-toed shoes, they may be a good alternative to the slip-on style that they offer all of their visitors.

PARKING INFORMATION:

Please enter the campus through the northwestern corner off 73rd Avenue. Just as you have entered the main driveway, you'll make an immediate RIGHT into the visitor's parking lot where there should be plenty of space available for you. If for some reason there are no available spaces, you can take any open space in the adjacent lots. Once you have safely parked, you will enter the facility through the northern main entrance (Door 1).

Please plan to arrive at 3:45 PM as we will be on the move at 4PM.
