Minnesota is the next big landscape for solar in the United States – in 2013 MnSEIA worked to pass sweeping legislation that established a 1.5 percent solar standard requiring 450 megawatts of solar by 2020. To meet and go beyond the standard, MnSEIA members are working to create the best possible production based incentive programs, Community Solar, value of solar, and large and utility scale development. The legislation sets the stage for exponential growth in Minnesota and MnSEIA is at the heart of what’s next for Solar.

This two-day working conference will bring together the people who are expanding Minnesota solar from 150 million dollars to over $1 billion in 5 years. Installers, vendors, developers, distributors, manufacturers, job trainers, trade unions, utilities and government agencies will focus on current and next steps.
